Southern Highbush
- Zones:Â 6-10
- Harvest: Summer-Fall
- Fruit: Berries are medium sized, very sweet when full ripe
- Facts of note: Colibri is a self-pollinating blueberry for warm climates. It has small, blue green leaves, very bushy habit, and grows 4.5 to 5 feet tall at maturity. Berries are medium sized, very sweet when full ripe, and productive (yields between 8-10#). Berries are in loose clusters and easy to pick. Very resistant to three common soil borne fungus: Phytophthora cinnamomi, Botryosphaeria corticis, and Botryosphaeria dothidea. If you live in USDA zones 8-10 and are looking for just one blueberry bush, this is it. May need some winter protection for zones 6 and 7.
